Research assistant wanted for an innovation project within child and adolescent psychiatry and behavioral science
We are looking for a committed, sociable and organized colleague for a 1-year position as a research assistant in an innovation research project, starting July 1, 2026 at the Research Unit of the Child and Adolescent Mental health Center of Bispebjerg and Frederiksberg Hospital.
About the research project
This project is a part of a Grand Solutions program funded by Denmark’s Innovation Foundation. It is a collaboration between the employer, the Technical University of Denmark, Alexandra Institute, two start-ups, the University of Zurich, and the University of Copenhagen.

If hired, you will become a part of an interdisciplinary research team engaged in innovative projects within child and adolescent psychiatry. You will receive on-the-job training within clinical research and have the opportunity to apply for funding for a PhD. The team leader and principal investigator, Nicole Lønfeldt is also an associate professor at the Department of Psychology and Center for Social Data Science at the University of Copenhagen.
Salary and employment conditions follow the applicable collective agreement.
According to legal requirements, you must present a clean child certificate when employed. HR department obtains the certificate from the National Police with your consent when they prepare your employment letter.
Practical information
Place of employment: Bispebjerg Frederiksberg Hospital, Børne- og Ungdomspsykiatrisk Center, Forskningsenheden, Gentofte Hospitalsvej 3A, 1. sal, 2900 Hellerup .
Employment: 30 hours/week - starting July 1, 2026, ending June 30, 2027.

Innovation project objectives:
- Test and quantify human-AI interactions.
- Develop, publish (where possible) and validate behavioral and diagnostic multi-modal models.
- Collect and annotate (ground truth) data for Danish and European contexts and open source data (where possible).
- Continuously commercialize findings.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Recruiting participants
- Collecting data (clinical interviews, qualitative interviews, experiments)
- Scheduling and coordinating
- Data management and cleaning
- App improvement/development and testing
- Support administrative tasks related to reporting and approvals
- Assisting with data analysis
- Support writing of study protocols and scientific papers
- Occasional childcare/supervision
Who are we looking for?

- Has strong organization skills
- Is proactive and independent
- Is interested in clinical research, innovation, and motivated to learn new things.
- Thrives with both collaboration and independent work.
- Is sociable, has strong communication skills and enjoys contact with participants and stakeholders - including families, schools, municipalities and psychiatry clinics.
- Has strong written and oral English skills
- Has strong written and oral Danish skills
