About the research project

The interaction between CD40 and its ligand CD40L is pivotal in T-cell-dependent B-cell activation, proliferation, and differentiation. Dysregulation of the CD40-CD40L axis has been implicated in various autoimmune diseases. The project involves the production and study of molecules directed towards the CD40-CD40L axis and involves the study of the effect of such molecules on the immune system.
