Scientific Management Assistant

The LEO Foundation, one of the world’s largest funders of skin research, is looking for a Scientific Management Assistant who will help develop and strengthen our growing philanthropic activities, and who would like to join us on our mission to pave the way for curing skin diseases.

With the overall aim of improving the lives of people living with skin diseases, we have high ambitions for our philanthropic grant activities and expect to double our funding to more than DKK 500 million a year by 2030. In support of this development, we now want to expand and complement the grant team with a Scientific Management Assistant.

To help ensure and support this development, we are looking for a candidate with proven experience in working with complex administrative systems and experience in supporting management and board operations. In addition to this, the ideal candidate is known for maintaining an effective overview of tasks, is attentive to detail and committed to quality in daily work. Lastly, the Scientific Management Assistant is a service-minded team player and can represent and uphold our values of integrity, dedication, and ambition.

You will be a key player in assuring high-quality administrative support to your colleagues at the LEO Foundation. Your key responsibilities will be focused on ensuring maintenance and development of efficient and seamless administrative processes related to the operations of the grant team. Some of the main tasks included in this are performing pre-assessment administrative checks on submitted applications to assess their eligibility before expert review, ensuring smooth financial flow/operations of financial reporting for ongoing grants and drafting presentations for the Grant Committee and the Board of Trustees meetings.
